We love hosting weddings and have done many over the years. Slough Irish Club is a great venue for weddings, with plenty of room for all generations to mix, dance, chat and play. We can host up to 250 guests seated and have a good choice of table options and set-ups. Being a large space we can usually accomodate any ideas you might have.
Modern wedding often have a video presentationthe involved in speeches and we have a full audio PA system and a ceiling mounted video projector so you don't have to bring your own. Adjustable window blinds to maximise projection and two different size stages. Our main stage and our smaller stage at the back of the hall.
For kids we have a grassed area outside within a walled garden for playing. With room for a bouncy castle too!
For your guests a large enclosed car park with room for coaches and 30 cars, as well as the use of an additional free council parking which is currently available just 10 metres away.
For those guests looking to stay over, there are at least 7 quality and budget hotels in a 10 minute drive radius. Holiday Inn, Premier Inn, Travelodge etc... there are plenty of local mini-cab firms too.
A well stocked and reasonably priced bar is always available and different options are offered.
The various rooms are available for hire individually or all together. The Function Room can be linked to The County Bar by retracting the dividing wall.
We have many seating plan arrangement options. Round tables (seat 8-10 each). The Function Room is completely open plan and has no columns to impair view or enjoyment.
